Security Communication Alarms

BALCO Provides electronic security systems for Home, Business, Government and Large buildings such as educational and medical Facilities.

We use only professional equipment for all installations. The only manufacturers used for all of our new projects for the last 17 years is either Radionics/Bosch and the new ITI/GE Interlogix wireless systems for all intrusion systems. The choice of these quality systems may cause you to think that we are forced to charge a higher amount for our installations. But because we use these systems exclusively, we are able to take advantage of lower equipment cost based on volume purchases, allowing you, the customer to enjoy the benefit of high end equipment at prices competive with far inferior equipment.

Video Surveillance Systems

BALCO can install both the most basic Video security as well as extremely sophisticated Video surveillance systems.

Cameras are available in color or black and white. Recording is accomplished by either state of the art digital systems or the traditional and economic video tape recording. Cameras can be installed either indoor or out, covert or obvious. Some examples of optional features are video motion detection devices, than can activate any number of outputs allowing for possibilities that are only limited by the imagination. Modules are also available to insert digital information on the recorded screen such as the output from a cash register’s information in the case of a retail point of sale camera recording the actual amount rung up and associated information recorded onscreen. It is also now possible to view a system remotely by means of either a standard telephone connection or through the internet, allowing for complete viewing as well as system control from anywhere on earth.

Fire Alarm Systems * BALCO Alarm is FDNY Approved *

A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other emergencies are present.

BALCO also installs, maintains and monitors all type of fire alarm systems including automatic and manual, traditional hard wired, wireless and multiplexed systems. Combination burg/fire systems are also available for residential installations.

Access Control Systems

Access Control Systems utilize advanced technologies such as Proximity Cards and the more common Magnetic Stripe (credit card type) access cards along with computer maintained controllers and software that allow for complete control and monitoring of all personnel entering and leaving all protected doors. Access can be restricted by user or by user groups. User groups can also be restricted by Time & Date windows and doors can be even fitted with readers on inside of door as well as outside of door to provide complete control and monitoring of usage of all protected doors by all personnel.
